How did she end up in Human Centered Design?

Immigration Specialist. Anthropology Major. Lighting Designer. Project Manager.

With a traditional liberal arts degree, and a 20-year career in the legal profession I am a deep and critical thinker. I am pragmatic and love solving business problems. Amongst all the various turns of my career, I am most enamored with design thinking.  The Human Centered Design and Engineering program at UW provided me with a rare opportunity to do work that touches on some aspect of all of my prior experience and brings those experiences together. I’ve been able to bring much of my education into projects in my legal specialist role that try to improve our customer’s experience.
